ATTY. MARIA CIELO F. MUSA is a dedicated legal professional with a strong background in corporate law, intellectual property law, and financial regulations. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) in September 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the same university, completed in April 2017. Her academic excellence is evident through multiple top rankings in law school, recognition as the Top Performing Student of PLM College of Law Batch 2024, and her distinction as a CHED Scholar and Dean’s Lister during her undergraduate years.

Her legal expertise is complemented by practical experience as a Legal Intern at the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) in Las Piñas, where she assisted in legal research, case preparation, and client representation. Before pursuing law, she worked as an Accounting Clerk at The SM Store Bacoor and completed an Accounting Internship at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), equipping her with a strong foundation in financial and regulatory compliance.

Maria Cielo has actively participated in legal organizations, serving as the Treasurer of the PLM Law Haribon Honor Society and contributing to PLM Central Bar Operations in both the Academics and Secretariat Committees. She has also demonstrated her legal acumen in competitions, securing 3rd place in the Law Quiz Bee organized by the Association of Law Students of the Philippines (ALSP) in February 2024.

Her legal research interests focus on intellectual property law, corporate governance, and financial regulations, as reflected in her thesis, “FILSCAP KILLED THE RADIO STAR: A Proposal to Provide Additional Limitations on Copyright and to Examine the Propriety of FILSCAP in Collecting Royalties from Playing Radio-Over-Loudspeakers.” With a keen analytical mind and a commitment to justice, she aims to contribute her expertise to corporate, financial, and intellectual property law practices.
